The Kangook Nanook three wheeled trike comes in two models, the Mini Nanook Solo and Mini Nanook Tandem. This is one of our strongest wheeled trike airframes which differs from the BasiK and KX-1 trike models because the engine is mounted directly onto the frame. It is manufactured using a heavier grade of metal to meet the needs of tandem (pilot and passenger) flying requirements and suitable for flying schools.
This system requires using heavier and more powerful engines . We recommend using the Cors-Air Black Bull 235 , Polini Thor 250 or the new Vittorazi Cosmos 300.
You can choose four types of wheels including the standard (with brake), the large aluminum Transmaster with disc brake, the X-Large TurfGlide with disc brake or the fat beach tires depending on your takeoff and landing requirements. Hard tires for firm surfaces, beach for soft or sandy ground.
There are two ski options for snow belt pilots. The large stirrup is a metal frame into which the large Transmaster wheel is mounted. The front ski stirrup has a guide rod beneath the ski blade to aid in steering. There is also the fixed ski which is mounted the same way as the wheel. Just remove the wheel and add the ski in typical Kangook modular design!
Note that the ski systems do not have a brake feature.
The Komfort bars are excellent for attaching a variety of accessories to aid your flight including mounting a GoPro camera, engine gauges, compass systems or container systems.
The Mini Nanook comes with standard dual 16.5L fuel tanks providing you with 33L of flying pleasure.

We recommend the Kangook Komfort harness bucket set for this airframe. You may also prefer to have a mounted solid bucket seat. The choice is yours!
We recommend 150cm dual or tri blade propellers with this aircraft.
